I have a friend that always takes her daughter out when her daughter is sick and I have to tell her not to come over if her daughter is sick. Mostly it's because she (the mother) can't stand to be home all day. Give me a break! Stay home and let your kid get better.Claudya Martinezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17034216831504207496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246662780121676632.post-77349638330771297262010-04-19T20:00:44.150-05:002010-04-19T20:00:44.150-05:00Thank you everyone for your input. Knowingly taking your child out in public when you know they are contagious is just plain irresponsible!Pink Haired Mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09351316968047246222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246662780121676632.post-42610799329200268902010-04-19T18:13:10.043-05:002010-04-19T18:13:10.043-05:00When your child is sick, you DO WHAT IT TAKES as s...When your child is sick, you DO WHAT IT TAKES as soon as possible is what I think. Nothing is more important. What I find hard is putting my own health on such a priority list! I make sure to follow absolutely all appointments for my child and take him in when needed, but I need to do the same for myself too!Kristy @Loveandblasphemyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02634987114195614214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246662780121676632.post-43001875991860470982010-04-19T13:37:11.508-05:002010-04-19T13:37:11.508-05:00I worked in a day care a few years ago so I knew a...I worked in a day care a few years ago so I knew all too well about these people. We had a boy once with hand, foot, and mouth. No one believed he was sick until at least a half dozen other kids (mine included) had it.

I know it can be hard to take off of work and expensive to go the doctor, but these are your kids and it needs to be done! I agree with what you said and you have every right to be mad.Evonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18053569885496919527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246662780121676632.post-45290599206682735322010-04-19T12:33:34.707-05:002010-04-19T12:33:34.707-05:00Lol, to keep them home is the best thing to do if ...Lol, to keep them home is the best thing to do if the kids are sick. I do understand that sometimes kids come down with stuff when they are out and about, but help slow the spread by keeping them home when they are sick! Pet Peeve of mine: Kids who are given lots of Tylenol, to take care of fever, and then send them to school! Geeze~ take responsibility and be a parent. Glad you are on the downside of this!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04380428099307924027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246662780121676632.post-56284566840141598492010-04-19T10:39:19.567-05:002010-04-19T10:39:19.567-05:00It is frustrating....very...I try to keep my kids ...It is frustrating....very...I try to keep my kids home when they are sick and the school sends me truancy letters! Some of these people I know even went to see a newborn baby after the whole family had been throwing up all morning! It is so aggravating. Unless we really have to, we stay home if any of us are sick.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11379590107965422649noreply@blogger.com
